The insentient War Essay:By: Tyler Brown The cold war consisted of threats that included nuclear devastation. Although thither was no bodily fighting, there were verbal disputes that went on between America and the Soviet Union. The reason why the cold war started was the USSR wanted to book over the lands that had been ravaged by war after WWII, in which no stable government had control of. The natives to the land were doughty to some type of security. The American and Soviet Alliance showed signs of wo even before WWII ended, and President Roosevelt hoped that after his victory against Germany and ornament that a creation of the United Nations would be created but or else the Soviet Union became incredibly hostile towards the United States. The individual I interviewed was David Dahlberg; he was born in Staton Island, New York in 1958. This is where he grew up during the ice-cold War and lived for most of his life. The Cold War had a definite impact on how he vi ewed the world that we live in. He was very interested in technology and science so he stayed up on all of the breaking news about the Atomic Bombs.
